The data controller is the company that operates the hotel to which the request, booking, or stay relates.

When the request involves multiple hotels or the Korner Hotels group as a whole, the data may be processed by Korner Hotels or by the group’s coordinating entity on behalf of the relevant operating companies.

2. Purposes of Processing

The operating companies of the Korner hotels may process the User’s personal information for the following purposes:

providing the requested information or services;
managing contact requests;
managing bookings;
managing the customer's stay;
processing payments and bank guarantees;
issuing invoices;
managing customer relations;
handling complaints;
collecting information to improve the Website, products, and services;
contacting the User regarding events related to Korner hotels, including, in particular, information on new partnerships, product updates, or customer support;
preventing fraud;
complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Recipients

Personal information is intended for the operating companies of the Korner hotels involved in the request, the reservation, or the stay.

It is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

It may, however, be shared with the subcontractors and service providers used by Korner hotels to provide services, in particular:

For security and confidentiality reasons related to the processing of personal data, the request may be processed provided that the User provides proof of identity, specifically by presenting a valid identification document.

The Korner hotels may, where applicable, object to requests that are clearly abusive, particularly due to their number or their repetitive or systematic nature.

Consumer Rights — Bloctel

The User is informed of their right to register on the Bloctel telemarketing opt-out list.

Bloctel is the telephone solicitation opt-out list on which any consumer may register free of charge to stop receiving telephone solicitations from a professional with whom they have no ongoing contractual relationship, in accordance with applicable regulations.

The law states that any professional, whether directly or through a third party acting on its behalf, is prohibited from making unsolicited telephone solicitations to a consumer listed on this list, except in the cases provided for by law.

Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), accommodation services—other than residential accommodation—to be provided on a specific date or within a specific period do not give rise to the right of withdrawal applicable to certain distance sales.

The terms of sale for the booked rate specify the cancellation and/or modification terms for the booking under that rate.

The cancellation, modification, no-show, and refund policies are set forth in the applicable General Terms and Conditions of Sale and in the rate terms and conditions brought to the Customer’s attention before the booking is confirmed.

6. Response Times

The Korner hotels agree to respond to any request for access, correction, objection, or any other request for additional information within a reasonable time, which may not exceed 1 month from receipt of the complete request.

Dispute resolution platform

The Korner hotels inform the Customer of the existence of a European online dispute resolution platform, which the Customer may use to attempt to resolve a dispute related to an online booking.

Customer reviews

In accordance with Articles L.111-7-2 and D.111-16 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), Korner Hotels informs the User of the terms governing the publication of customer reviews displayed on the hotel pages of the Website.

Source of the reviews. The reviews displayed are public reviews posted by customers on each hotel’s Google listing. They are retrieved automatically from Google and updated approximately every two months. The overall rating and the number of reviews shown are those calculated and displayed by Google as of the update date indicated on the page.

No verification. The Korner hotels do not verify whether the author of a review actually stayed at the property. Any such verification is the responsibility of the platform on which the review was published.

Selection criteria and display order. The reviews displayed are a selection: only 5-star reviews containing 81 to 400 characters, chosen from among the most recent reviews, are included. They therefore do not represent all the reviews published about the hotel, which the user can view in full via the “See reviews” or “View on Google” link. Reviews highlighted by the hotel are displayed first, followed by the other reviews in chronological order from most recent to oldest. The month each review was published is indicated.

Translation. Reviews written in a language other than French are translated automatically; the original language is then indicated below the review.

No consideration. No consideration is given to review authors in exchange for their publication.

Display period. The reviews displayed are replaced with more recent reviews at each update. A review is no longer displayed once it no longer meets the criteria described above.

Review summary. The summary and keywords displayed on each hotel page are compiled by Korner Hotels based on an analysis of public reviews published on Booking, Expedia, Google, TripAdvisor, and Airbnb. They highlight the aspects most frequently praised by customers and do not constitute a comprehensive summary of all reviews. The number of reviews shown is rounded down to the nearest hundred.

Reporting and Removal. Any author of a posted review, or any person wishing to report a review they believe to be inaccurate or inauthentic, may request its removal from the Website by writing to guest-relation@hotels-korner.com. A review can be edited directly on the platform where it was published.

General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Bookings made with Korner Hotels are subject to the applicable General Terms and Conditions of Sale, which are available on the Website.

The General Terms and Conditions of Sale set forth, in particular, the terms and conditions governing reservations, cancellations, changes, payments, no-shows, stays, liability, and mediation.
