Where to Eat Near Our Hotels: Our Staff's Recommendations

The terrace of a Parisian restaurant in a neighborhood near a Korner hotel

Our front desk staff have been recommending the same places for years. Here’s a list of them: two neighborhood restaurants next to each of our 13 hotels in Paris.

That’s the question we’re asked most often at the front desk, right after the one about the Wi-Fi password: where can you eat well, not too far away, without falling into a tourist trap? Our staff has its own answers, honed by sending guests there and listening to their feedback when they return. Here they are: two restaurant recommendations, almost always just a few minutes’ walk away.

A helpful tip for everyone: In Paris, you’ll need to make a reservation for a small venue that’s fully booked on Tuesday evenings. Ask the front desk to make the call for you—we’re happy to do so.

Korner Châtelet (Paris 1st)

The neighborhood has no shortage of bars and restaurants, but many rely on tourist traffic. From our hotel in the 1st arrondissement, near the Marais, two things are certain:

Yahmi, 25 Victoria Avenue—just a few doors down from the hotel, Moroccan cuisine in a quiet dining room, perfect for when you don't feel like walking anymore. Closed on Sundays.

Le Royal, 246 Rue Saint-Honoré—a 15-minute walk down Rue de Rivoli—is a brasserie open from breakfast until very late, perfect for stopping by on the way home from a show.

Korner Louvre (Paris 2nd)

Around our hotel near the Louvre Museum, between the Palais-Royal and the Stock Exchange, the streets empty out in the evening, and it’s easy to spot good restaurants.
