A MORE SUSTAINABLE STAY, KORNER-STYLE

At Da Korner Hotels, our commitment to sustainability is evident in every detail, from our organic breakfast to the selection of our suppliers. Here’s an overview of the concrete steps we’re taking to ensure a more sustainable stay.
A More Responsible Vacation, Korner Style
At Da Korner Hotels, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond a simple poster in the room. It’s reflected in every detail of your stay: from your breakfast plate to the bed linens, and everything in between—including our operating practices and the partners we choose. Here’s how it plays out.
Sustainable Food We work with artisans and producers in the Île-de-France region through short supply chains: Brut de Pains for organic sourdough bread, PrimFruits for seasonal fruit selected from local producers, and MySpresso for 100% organic and fair-trade coffee, purchased directly from certified cooperatives and artisanally roasted in France for each delivery. Packaging is handled by APF France Handicap, in support of the employment of people with disabilities. In general, we minimize the use of single-use packaging in guest rooms and at the buffet.
Reducing Our Environmental Impact: Filtered water to limit the use of plastic bottles, linens changed only upon request, washing machines and dishwashers set to eco mode, motion-sensor lighting in most common areas, refurbished computers at the front desk, and certified cleaning products. These are simple measures, but they are consistently implemented across all 11 of our hotels.
Encouraging good habits: digital menus, invoices via email, and electronic payments to reduce the need to carry cash; signs for recycling; suggestions for bike paths; and a subway map available as soon as you arrive. Our deliveries are handled by Stuart, a low-carbon solution—because one more good deed is never too much.
Charitable Initiatives Our Intimani rugs, handmade in Madagascar, help fund medical care and education for local children. Our Re-Belle jams make use of “imperfect” fruit that would otherwise have been thrown away, while also supporting job creation. Our surplus food is redistributed through Too Good To Go to combat food waste.
Suppliers Who Share Our Standards We choose partners with concrete and measurable commitments. Gallia and Elis, our linen suppliers, and Filfa, our cleaning partner, are all ranked in the top 5% of companies worldwide as evaluated by EcoVadis. Behind these certifications lie tangible results: 245 metric tons of CO₂ avoided by Gallia by 2025 thanks to 100% French rapeseed fuel, a washing technology that reduces water consumption from 11 to 3.4 liters per kilogram, and 70% of Elis’s used textiles being recycled or reused. Measurable commitments, not promises.
A Belief, Not a Constraint: Lifestyle hospitality and a commitment to sustainability are not at odds with one another. They complement each other naturally. We demonstrate this every day, in each of our 11 Parisian hotels.
