A MORE SUSTAINABLE ESTANCIA, KORNER-STYLE

At Korner Hotels, our commitment to sustainability is evident in every detail, from our organic breakfast to the selection of our suppliers. Here’s a look at the specific steps we’re taking to ensure a more responsible stay.
A more sustainable stay, Korner-style
At Korner Hotels, our commitment to sustainability isn’t limited to a statement posted in the room. It’s reflected in every detail of your stay: from your breakfast plate to the bedding, and everything in between—including our operational practices and the partners we choose. This is how it comes to life.
Sustainable Food We work with artisans and producers in the Île-de-France region through short supply chains: Brut de Pains for organic sourdough bread, PrimFruits for seasonal fruit selected from local producers, and MySpresso for 100% organic and fair-trade coffee, sourced directly from certified cooperatives and artisanally roasted in France with each delivery. Packaging is handled by APF France Handicap, which supports the employment of people with disabilities. In general, we minimize individual packaging in guest rooms and at the buffet.
Reducing Our Environmental Impact: Filtered water to limit the use of plastic bottles, linens changed only upon request, washing machines and dishwashers set to eco mode, motion-sensor lighting in most of our common areas, refurbished computers at the front desk, and eco-labeled cleaning products. Simple measures, but consistently implemented across our 11 hotels.
Promoting good habits: Digital letters, invoices by email, and electronic payments to reduce the need to carry cash, as well as recycling signs, recommendations for bike lanes, and a subway map available to you upon arrival. Our deliveries are handled by Stuart, a low-carbon solution—because one more good deed never hurts.
Charitable Initiatives Our Intimani rugs, handmade in Madagascar, help fund medical care and education for local children. Our Re-Belle jams give new life to “imperfect” fruit that would otherwise have been discarded, while also supporting employment opportunities. Unsold food is redistributed through Too Good To Go to combat food waste.
Suppliers Who Share Our Standards We choose partners with concrete and measurable commitments. Gallia and Elis, our bedding suppliers, as well as Filfa, our cleaning partner, rank among the top 5% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis worldwide. Behind these certifications lie tangible results: 245 metric tons of CO₂ avoided by Gallia by 2025 thanks to 100% French rapeseed fuel, a washing technology that reduces water consumption from 11 to 3.4 liters per kilogram, and 70% of Elis’s used textiles being recycled or reused. Measurable commitments, not promises.
A Belief, Not an Obligation: Lifestyle hospitality and a commitment to sustainability are not mutually exclusive. They complement each other naturally. We demonstrate this every day at each of our 11 hotels in Paris.
