CDG or Orly Airport: How to Get to Your Hotel in Paris

Passengers with their suitcases at an RER station in Paris

RER B, Line 14, taxi: ways to get to Paris from Roissy and Orly in 2026, and the easiest route to each of our hotels.

From Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport, the easiest way to get to Paris is by taking the RER B, which goes directly to Gare du Nord, Châtelet-Les Halles, and the Latin Quarter in about 40 minutes. From Orly, Metro Line 14 takes you to downtown Paris without changing trains in less than 40 minutes. In both cases, you’ll need a special ticket costing €14. Taxis, on the other hand, charge a flat rate depending on which side of the river your hotel is on.

From Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle

The RER B, the most direct route

The RER B line connects the airport to the heart of Paris and stops at Gare du Nord, Châtelet-Les Halles, Saint-Michel Notre-Dame, Luxembourg, and Denfert-Rochereau, among other stations. Depending on your hotel, you can either get off directly at the right station or transfer to the metro.

The Roissybus no longer exists

The Roissybus shuttle between the Opéra and the airport stopped running on February 28, 2026. It was replaced by the 9517 express line, which connects the airport to Saint-Denis Pleyel, where passengers can transfer to Metro Line 14.

Coming Soon: the CDG Express

A direct rail link between Gare de l'Est and the airport—the CDG Express—is scheduled to open in the spring of 2027, with a travel time of about 20 minutes. It will be particularly convenient for travelers staying near Gare de l'Est.

Flat-Rate Taxi

Parisian taxis charge a fixed fare between the airport and Paris, as set by a prefectural decree: in 2026, €56 to the Right Bank and €65 to the Left Bank. Only take taxis from official taxi stands, and check the fare displayed before departure.

From Orly

Line 14, direct to downtown

Orlyval and RER B, for the Left Bank

The Orlyval automated shuttle connects the airport to the Antony train station in just a few minutes, where you can take the RER B line toward Denfert-Rochereau, Luxembourg, and Saint-Michel Notre-Dame. This is often the easiest way to get to the Latin Quarter and the 15th arrondissement.

Flat-Rate Taxi

From Orly, the flat-rate taxi fare will be €36 to the Left Bank and €45 to the Right Bank in 2026.

Arriving late or with children

Train service from the airports stops around midnight. After that, your options are the Noctilien night buses or a flat-rate taxi, which doesn’t charge extra at night. Be sure to let your hotel know your arrival time: most of our properties have a 24-hour front desk, and our digital guest experience allows you to check in without waiting.

For families, children under 4 travel for free on public transportation in the Île-de-France region if they do not occupy a seat, and a reduced fare is available for older children. If you have several suitcases and a stroller, a flat-rate taxi fare often becomes a competitive option for groups of three or four passengers. To choose the right room, check out our guide to family rooms in Paris.

Arriving before 3:00 p.m.? Our hotels will store your luggage free of charge while you wait for your room to be ready, and after you check out until your flight time.
