CDG or Orly Airport: How to Get to Your Hotel in Paris

RER B, Line 14, taxi: ways to get to Paris from Roissy and Orly in 2026, and the easiest route to each of our hotels.
From Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport, the easiest way to get to Paris is by taking the RER B, which provides direct service to Gare du Nord, Châtelet-Les Halles, and the Latin Quarter in about 40 minutes. From Orly, Metro Line 14 takes you to downtown Paris without any transfers in less than 40 minutes. In both cases, you’ll need a special ticket costing €14. Taxis, on the other hand, charge a flat rate depending on which side of the Seine your hotel is located.
From Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle
The RER B—the most direct route
The RER B line connects the airport to the heart of Paris and stops at Gare du Nord, Châtelet-Les Halles, Saint-Michel Notre-Dame, Luxembourg, and Denfert-Rochereau, among others. Depending on your hotel, you’ll either get off directly at the right station or transfer to the metro.
The Roissybus no longer exists
The Roissybus shuttle between the Opéra and the airport stopped running on February 28, 2026. It has been replaced by the 9517 express line, which connects the airport to Saint-Denis Pleyel, where passengers can transfer to Metro Line 14.
Presto, the CDG Express
A direct rail link between Gare de l'Est and the airport—the CDG Express—is scheduled to open in the spring of 2027, with a travel time of about 20 minutes. It will be particularly convenient for those staying near Gare de l'Est.
The fixed-rate taxi
Taxis in Paris charge a fixed fare between the airport and Paris, set by prefectural decree: in 2026, €56 to the Right Bank and €65 to the Left Bank. Only take taxis from official taxi stands and verify the fare before departure.
From Orly

Arriving late or with children
Train service from the airports stops around midnight. After that, your options are the Noctilien night buses or fixed-rate taxis, whose fares do not change at night. Be sure to let your hotel know your arrival time: most of our properties have a 24-hour front desk, and our digital guest experience allows you to check in without waiting.
For families, children under 4 travel for free on public transportation in the Île-de-France region if they do not occupy a seat, and there is a reduced fare for older children. With several suitcases and a stroller, a flat-rate taxi often becomes a cost-effective option for groups of three or four travelers. To choose the right room, check out our guide to family rooms in Paris.
Arriving before 3:00 p.m.? Our hotels will store your luggage free of charge until your room is ready, and after check-out until your flight time.
